Hi, I’m Ellie! I’m an artist and illustrator based in west Cornwall, UK, with a lifelong passion for drawing, painting, and creating. From an early age, I was rarely without a sketchbook in hand, always dreaming up new ideas and bringing them to life on paper. I started my journey in art with realistic portraiture using charcoal mediums, but it was the vibrant, imaginative and immersive world of children’s illustration that truly captured my heart.
In 2022, I graduated from the University of Creative Arts with a first-class honours degree in Fine Art. Since then, I’ve been refining my style and building a portfolio that reflects my love for storytelling and character design.
I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Settle Stories, creating illustrations for storytelling videos aimed at schools and families. Working closely with their team, I help bring stories to life through visuals that enhance learning and spark imaginations.
Recently, I’ve been focused on developing my own distinctive approach to character and environment concept creation, blending creativity with a Cornish narrative to craft work that’s both meaningful and fun.
